Recovery from oral surgery is often quite simple and does not interfere significantly with a patient’s general schedule of activities or diet. However, there are some surgical procedures that are more involved and will therefore require modifications in a patient’s schedule, diet, oral hygiene, and general activities. Always follow post-operative instructions as provided by your surgeon and/or our professional staff.  Doing so will reduce the discomfort and the disability associated with surgery, and will minimize risks for infection and poor wound healing.  Do not hesitate to ask questions about any of the instructions you are provided with.
